The bit about us.
Over 30 years ago we started a fledgling business processing film and plates for printing companies, publishers and advertising agencies aptly named ‘Digital River’. Five years prior to that, Stan and Vincent had started a graphic design company called ‘Hot House Design Group’ specialising in product packaging, publishing, advertising, outdoor, and all sorts of mixed media projects across Auckland and New Zealand. One of the earliest employees was Aaron Fletcher, subsequently re-monikered “Fletch” by everybody. He became the “get it done” guy.
Our paths went separate ways in the 2000’s, Stan relocated to a beachside suburb and worked remotely on various selected design projects, Vincent re-entered the print service environment and upskilled in the digital media environment, while Fletch left the building and travelled to the USA and Papua New Guinea to pursue a new found interest in cloud migration and CMS solutions for quite large [very large] operations.
Fast forward to a year or so ago and our collective paths crossed over a broken Mac laptop and Fletch’s ability to fix the unfixable. The result was a chat about the current online landscape [or ‘brandscape’] and the sometimes fragmented mechanisims that are employed to get the customers to relate to the products and resellers.
BDMA Revolution is our collective result.
